Whether youll like this game depends on your definition of gaming fun. If your idea of gaming bliss is sitting down with Angry Birds, then this may not be the best choice for you. If, however, youre willing to invest some time in understanding the inter-related systems behind Europa Universalis 3, youll find this to be a deep and rewarding game. I dont say that to knock people who like Angry Birds, but to make sure that people who buy this know that they will have to invest some time to get the most of the game. The 1.02 version finally comes with the manuals, but the game went through four expansions, each of which revised game mechanics significantly. Youll have five manuals on the launch screen. Check out the Paradox Interactive forms and the EU3 Wiki to help you understand whats happening under the hood. If youre willing to invest the time, this is a phenomenal gaming experience.
